Official results of 39th edition of The International Radio Competition of Young Musicians Concertino Praga 2004

The Jury session of the 39th edition of The International Radio Competition Concertino Praga 2004 took place within 26 - 29 November, 2004 in Prague. Jury members: Chairperson: Jiří Hlaváč (Czech Republic) members: Liběna Séquardtová (Czech Republic), Vladimír Rejlek (Czech Republic), Michel Gasciarino (France), Helena Hiilivirta (Finland), Sven Ake Landström (Sweden), Lovro Sodja (Slovenia).

From the total amount of 43 recordings 2 had to be disqulified due to not meeting the competition requirements. The Jury has reviewed 41 candidates (10 flutes, 6 oboes, 11 clarinets, 3 French horns, 11 trumpets) from 17 countries (Bulgaria, Czech Republic, Estonia, Croatia, Latvia, Hungaria, Netherlands, Poland, Austria, Romania, Germany, Russia, Slovakia, Serbia and Montenegro, Ukraine, Slovenia, Ireland).

Prize winners who were awarded the 1st and 2nd prizes are becoming the "Laureates of Concertino Praga" and they are obliged to defend this title at the concert of laureates on June 18, 2005 in Prague and at other public performances within The South Bohemian Festival of Concertino Praga in June 2005.
